This Week's Hairbrained Musings (6)

*Hypocrisy is the currency of motherhood.  The same woman that spent my entire childhood telling me that too much junk food is bad for you has spent my children's childhood assuring me that one more cookie never killed anybody!  I am sure I will do the same thing-- one day.

*My dumbass dog will, in fact, eat anything--  and the emergency vet couldn't be happier.

*An inflatable pool and a garden hose are the best things for making this heat tolerable-- and for making your kids tolerable, too!

*Children need their grandparents even more than they need their parents sometimes.

*Nothing brings out the redneck in ya like the Fourth of July!

*Small town folks are wonderful.  They will give you the shirt off their back if you ask for it, but they will shoot your ass if you try to steal it from them!

Until next time...

  1. Hypocrisy...absolutely! I can't wait to be a grandparent so I can do everything I tried NOT to do with my own. LOL!
